Sub-regional partnerships

The sub-regional partnerships enable local delivery of the regional strategy, responding to the specific needs of local authorities in their area. They are:

• In Greater Manchester - Association of Greater Manchester Authorities(AGMA)
• In Cheshire - Cheshire and Warrington Improvement and Efficiency Commission (CWIEC)
• In Cumbria - Cumbria Improvement and Efficiency Partnership (CIEP)
• In Merseyside - Merseyside Improvement and Efficiency Partnership (MIEP)
• In Lancashire - Team Lancashire

Sub-regional partnerships are staffed and managed by local government officers and governed by a combination of senior officers and members. The five sub-regions are diverse and have different improvement needs.
