Date: Wednesday, 17 March, 2010
Time: 9:00 - 17:00
Location: Warwick Conference Centre,
Recognition is now widespread that local authorities have a key
role in leading action to adapt and mitigate climate change within
their areas. Delivering against this role however requires strong
political leadership. In a fast moving policy landscape,
opportunities for local authorities to show leadership are broad,
but also present many challenges.
This course offers participants the opportunity to learn more about
the latest developments, how the best local authorities are
approaching climate change, and the benefits of strong political
leadership. This programme has been developed to support local
authorities on climate change. It is designed to expose

networking, dynamic learning methods and stimulating
activities.
