Sustainable MDF Mouldings

Background

Buying Solutions has teamed up with builders merchant Jewson to offer exclusive savings of up to 35 % on selected lines of MDF moulding up until 30 June 2007.

These mouldings are part of the Buying Solutions’ Chain of Custody Certified range; an independently audited process which records each stage that the timber passes through – from felling, to milling and distribution – and verifies that the product has originated from a certified forest, in this case to FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) standards. So in addition to unbeatable market prices, customers will fully comply with the ‘legal and sustainable’ requirement of the Governments Timber procurement policy.

And because Jewson has 130 branches which offer this certification, the procurement process is both convenient and cost effective.

Who can use the framework?

This framework agreement is open to all public sector bodies in the UK.
