Tyres and Associated Services
Background
The Framework Agreements were let following a competition by NHS PASA, acting in partnership with OGC and other Departments, under the Public Contracts Regulations 2006.
The Framework duration is three years from 1 January 2007, with an option to extend for a further year.
Who can use the framework?
This framework agreement is open to all eligible public sector bodies in the UK.
Key features and benefits of framework
- Enables the purchase of tyres and associated services through entering into call-off Contracts with Suppliers.
- No need to advertise for similar requirements in the Official Journal of the European Union (ˇ§OJEUˇ¨) and to run separate public procurement exercises.
- Immediate access to the best competitive prices and terms available to the public sector via the NHS PASA Framework
- Consists of two leading suppliers, Michelin Tyre PLC and ATS Euromaster.
