Mietool available to North West authorities
01 April 2010
The North West Improvement and Efficiency Partnership
(NWIEP) has made a major new resource, Mietool, available to North
West authorities to assist with the efficiency and improvement
agenda.
Mietool is designed to support local authorities in assessing,
planning and monitoring the delivery of high quality, low cost
public services.
The resource, an easy-to-use Excel spreadsheet that can be used
at every stage of the project lifecycle from options
appraisal to benefits tracking, helps to measure the efficiency
impacts of projects and to provide data for the efficiency
Performance Indicator and helps to plan and measure the improvement
value of projects against all 198 national Performance
Indicators.
Mietool was developed by the Regional Improvement and Efficiency
Partnerships in association with Tribal, the Department of
Communities and Local Government and the London Borough of
Brent.
Mietool is available free of charge by emailing the
mietool team at Tribal on mietool@tribalgroup.co.uk.
