The North West Improvement and Efficiency Partnership (NWIEP)
aims to:
- Provide support for local authorities and partners to take
responsibility for and drive forward improvement and efficiency
savings
- Co-ordinate support provided by other regional and national
agencies
- Support innovation and the sharing of good practice
- Assist councils to tackle poor performance through tailored,
co-ordinated support.
We do this through sector-led support in the form of training,
conferences and events, good practice guides, direct support from
other authorities and by investing in activity that will lead to
improvement and efficiency in local public services.
